Baseball Sugar Cookies

Batter up! Celebrate baseball’s rich tradition with this fun treat.

This recipe is a fun way to bring the family together, and to get everyone ready for baseball’s exciting postseason action leading up to the World Series!

Ingredients

Cookies
1 c. butter 1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. white sugar 4 ½ c. flour
½ c. sour cream 4. tsp. baking powder
2 eggs ½ tsp. salt
Glaze
2 c. powdered sugar 1 Tbsp. light corn syrup
2 Tbsp. milk Red decorator gel

Preparation

1. Cream butter, sugar, sour cream. Add eggs and vanilla.

2. Sift dry ingredients together; add to wet.

3. Chill dough for a few hours.

4. Preheat oven to 350°F. Roll out dough and cut with round cookie cutter.

5. Bake 5-7 minutes. Let cool.

6. Mix sugar, milk and corn syrup together. Glaze cookies and let stand.

7. Add baseball stitching with red gel.
