With only five more episodes to go, NBC’s miniseries event A.D. The Bible Continues is ramping up the action. Last week saw the persecution of the disciples as Saul, intent on wiping out the followers of Jesus, destroyed their camp and threatened Peter’s life. This week, things get worse for Peter as Saul targets him personally, many of the followers flee Jerusalem and the Roman emperor comes to the city.
