Jane Seymour headlined on abcnews.com yesterday after her incredibly graceful appearance on Good Morning America. You can’t not like this woman. If you missed her Angels on Earth story about how she fell in love with painting (Sept/Oct 2010), read it here.
We ran three of my favorite pieces of her artwork with the magazine story: a watercolor of a pair of koi, an oil portrait of a single camellia (the best smelling flower I know), and a watercolor with pen and ink of her hazel eyes. All of them appear in Jane’s new book, Among Angels, a Guideposts publication on sale at bookstores this month. It’s really a keepsake, featuring Jane’s paintings paired with inspiring quotes and stories about the power of love and kindness, and the human angels in our lives.
Jane was an angel herself, if you ask me, when she called Georgia Morrisey, the creative director of GuidepostsBooks, to say thank you personally for creating a book as pleasing to look at as it is to read. I bet you’ll agree with Jane Seymour and me that it had to be angels who inspired Georgia’s lovely design work! Please check it out for yourself.
