I am inspired by the baby robins that hatched in my mailbox! It is so much fun to watch their daily growth and see the miracle of life in progress.

God has graced me with the ability to go back to work on a part-time basis after being on disability for two years.

A couple of months ago I wrote about how my cousin’s husband was fighting cancer and how they set up a page for updates and asking everyone to pray for him. They not once questioned God; they still had faith. Well, I’m sorry to say that Marlin Yoder lost his battle, and is now home with the Lord. What inspires me is not only my cousin, his wife, but all the stories from friends, family and students about how their lives were touched and inspired by Marlin’s faith in God, and his desire to tell everyone about Him! Marlin was truly one of God’s angels on earth, spreading the word of God. He finished his work and now is in heaven, where he belongs!

A friend of many years seems to be like Job, keeping her faith with lots of loss all around her. She is a true inspiration.

My dad has inspired me all week! He passed away last week at 95. He was the best man I ever knew. My estranged daughter has returned to our family’s life. Everyone at the funeral said how blessed my dad and I were to have had each other in our lives.
