My grandchildren inspire me because they are so positive and they show such incredible maturity in their Christianity. I am so proud of them. We tend to hear more about the negative things teenagers do, but the truth is, there are millions of young people doing great things for others in their communities.

My little grandchildren, whose sweet voices singing “Jesus Loves Me” while they play with their toys proves that their parents are raising them in the way of the Lord!

My 90-year-old mother is my inspiration. She lives in her own apartment, she is still an excellent cook, and even though she has debilitating arthritis and heart disease, she has a goal every day. No sitting feeling sorry for herself.

My 89-year-old mom, who doesn’t look or act 89! She lives in her own home, mows her own yard, gets up every morning with a positive attitude, helps others, loves her family, drives where she wants and has time to listen. I hope to be like her at 89!

My best friend inspires me. I have no family, so having a disease like Lupus can be very challenging to say the least, but through it all, she comforts me and prays for and with me daily. She is what Christian love is all about. She inspires me to remain hopeful and faithful in my darkest hours.

I’ve had hard times lately. I recently started the 40 day journey of A Purpose Driven Life. It inspires me so much! Every evening when the kids are in bed, I turn off the TV and sit and read my day in the book and pray about it, and all that is yet to come. Prayer definitely gets me through!
