This is my niece’s and her fiancé’s dog, Remi. He is a super cute chocolate lab. I met him the day I photographed him.
While at a family reunion at a church in the country, they brought Remi. What could be better than photographing a puppy while at a family reunion?
There is a graveyard at the church, and I asked my niece’s fiancé (then boyfriend) if I could photograph Remi. He came outside with me to help with Remi. Dogs aren’t very good at keeping still when they are puppies, and I needed him to sit still!
I would take a photograph and Remi would run in the other direction. Time after time the whole sequence repeated itself. I am sure he and Remi were worn out after we finished.
We too can run in the other direction and follow our own ways and desires, but the Lord remains vigilant waiting for us to return. He gave us a free will which, if not in check, can take us down a wrong path.
The Lord knows what is best for our lives.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11, NIV)
Will we chose to follow His path?
