This little guy jumped from post to post to post as I patiently waited to photograph him at the State Botanical Garden of Georgia. It seemed like the hard and more difficult way to travel. Walking a straight line on the ground would have proved to be a lot easier and efficient.
I pray and seek the Lord’s wisdom because I want nothing more than to be right in the center of His will following the path He would like me to take. I try my best to follow the path He lays before me. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. (Proverbs 3:6, NLT)
Sometimes the path may not seem obvious. During those times, I take a step in the direction I believe He would have me go. No, I probably don’t always hear Him correctly but believe He will guide me back to where He wants me.
As we go through this thing called life, “Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you. Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways.” (Proverbs 4:25-26, NIV)
Are we giving careful thought to the path before us and asking the Lord to show us His will for our lives?
