Things have been pretty dreamy in Mysterious Ways land these days. You see, we’re gearing up for our live Facebook Dream Chat with Dr. Judith Orloff on Wednesday, February 24. Dr. Orloff is a psychiatrist, bestselling author and UCLA professor. She’ll be analyzing dreams, answering questions and sharing dream tips during the chat.
I’m pretty excited. It’s a chance for readers to ask questions and gain insight into their dreams. And, I happen to have a dream that I’d like Dr. Orloff’s help in deciphering!
It happened when I was a kid, though I’m not exactly sure when. (If only back then I’d known I’d be working at Mysterious Ways…I would’ve kept better track of my life’s mysteries!)
In the dream, I’m in a place that looks like Kansas. By the side of a country road is a puddle. The water inside is crystal clear, almost unlike normal water. At the bottom of the puddle are gold coins. My sister Priscilla and I are kneeling beside the puddle, laughing and trying to get the coins. Everything is sparkly and golden-hued.
I usually forget my dreams the second I wake up. This dream, though, has stayed with me year after year. It’s probably the most beautiful, peaceful dream I’ve ever had.
But what in the world does it mean?! Hopefully I’ll get some answers at the Dream Chat.
In the meantime, have you ever had a strange or vivid dream that you just can’t forget? Share it below or submit it to be analyzed at our Dream Chat!
