Hi, I’m Colleen Hughes, Editor-in-Chief of “Angels on Earth,” with a true story of an everyday angel from Marvin Lee in St. Mary’s, Georgia. Angels come to us every day– as a neighbor, an unexpected rescuer, a kind stranger, or a loyal pet. Listen now to a story of just such an everyday angel.

One rainy night, Marvin’s 18-wheeler broke down as he was going up a mountain. A clamp had fallen off, loosening the hose that gives the truck power. When a state trooper drove up, Marvin explained his situation, as he reached into the cab to pull out his tools. When he turned around, the trooper said, “Look at this.” It was the exact clamp he needed, but attached to a pipe.
“Where’d you find that?” Marvin asked. The trooper motioned toward the ground right next to the truck. Marvin removed the pipe. “God sure is good,” said the trooper. The trooper waited until Marvin fixed his truck and got going. Then the policeman pulled ahead of him. At the top of the mountain, Marvin could see for miles, but there was no sign of the trooper’s tail lights. He drove along and thanked God for the angel He’d sent. Yep, God sure is good.
