Have you read the “Kids and Angels” feature in our July/Aug 2015 issue of Angels on Earth yet? If so, you’ll recognize Jill Evans, mom to the adorable redheaded Ayden, pictured at right, who learned his first word from the angels who delivered him from heaven.

Jill wrote us a P.S. the other day, with an angelic story of her own.

Jill's son, AydenBack in the 1980s, Guideposts magazine was a fixture in her home. “It was a very important part of my mom’s life,” Jill wrote. At about age 16, Jill picked up an issue from the coffee table and read straight through it. Like mother, like daughter, she was hooked. And eventually something strange happened. “I remember just having that knowledge that someday a story of mine would appear in Guideposts,” she said. “That in itself is funny because I’m really not an author.”

That didn’t stop her believing it would happen. For years, she believed. But besides telling her husband in the early 1990s, she didn’t tell another soul. I figured Jill’s story being published in Angels on Earth was the end of it, God’s promise revealed. Didn’t that count since Guideposts is our parent magazine?

Nope. Jill knows a very precise God.

“When I got the email from Angels on Earth, I felt God say to me, ‘Trust me. You KNOW because I gave you that knowledge!’ Thank you, Angels on Earth, for giving me confirmation of something else that I just KNOW! Thanks for being part of that God moment.”

It seems that Angels on Earth magazine is an angel itself. And I can’t wait to see Jill’s story in Guideposts–someday. Because I believe too.
