The Gift of Motherhood
We truly have just 18 summers before our children leave home—and each season is precious beyond words.

Let’s determine today that we’re going to be diligent about protecting the hearts and minds of our little ones…and ourselves. Let’s fill our lives with thoughts and things that will make us godly men and women who will make God proud.
Our loving Father wraps His arms of love around us whenever we need Him.
Let’s ask God to put five people on our hearts. Take some time and pray for them, and then pick up the phone or send a Facebook message or a text and tell them, “I’ve been praying for you.”
The God of the universe chose me . . . and you. We don’t have to fear that we’ll be rejected. The welcome mat is out for all to come to Him.
None of us will go to heaven with a U-Haul carrying our possessions. Now would be a great time for all of us to think about the things that really count. Do we need to do some spiritual spring cleaning?
If God calls you to do something, He will equip you with everything that you need for that journey. He will be with you every step of the way. And you will be blown away by the doors He will open.
We’re often so busy that God is the last part of our day–or we ignore Him completely. Or we’re so caught up in things that we don’t hear Him when He tries to speak to us.
The fire spread to more than 750 acres, but the Ridgecrest Conference Center is still standing–overlooked by a beautiful white cross high on the hillside.
I don’t want to get to the end of my life and hear God say, “I gave you so many gifts and talents. I had so much I wanted you to do. I would have opened doors for you! I would have equipped you with everything you needed—but you let fear win out and you never took that first step on the journey.”
Never take God’s handiwork for granted. Thank Him for the gift of another spring, for days with warm sunshine and a soft breeze. Delight in the amazing beauty He’s created,
God wants us to heed His warnings, to study His Word until we’re prepared to handle the situations He sends into our lives. He wants us to spend time at His house–at church–becoming a team with others who can be there and help us through a crisis.
