But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.”

No other message in the history of the world has brought the repercussions of the one delivered to shepherds huddled on that Judean hillside. The Messiah! Nothing would ever be the same again. God’s own Son has come to give us abundant life!

Dear God, help me be one of Your messengers and share the good news this Advent season.
