Walk with God

He withdrew about a stone’s throw beyond them, knelt down and prayed, “Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.”—Luke 22:41-42 (NIV)
Have you ever wanted something so desperately you prayed for a specific outcome and when God had a different answer, you turned your back on Him and lost your faith? Faith and prayer are about trusting the road ahead, no matter what. When you trust that your Heavenly Father knows all your needs and knows the situation from His perfect perspective, you can faithfully pray, “Thy will be done.”
Dear Lord, thank You for teaching me, again and again, to trust You.
