In Perfect Alignment
Jesus spoke about the dangers of serving your ego rather than God. When you are faced with a choice, reflect on your motivation. Focus on serving God. Align your will with His and you will set yourself up for success!
The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand forever.—Isaiah 40:8 (KJV)
As the leaves turn into a magnificent display of brilliant hues, which slowly drift downward leaving behind beautiful silhouettes of bare trees, we are reminded that life is finite—and that all living things at one time or another will wither and fade. It is our faith in an infinite God who promises life without end that helps us to see the autumns of life not as endings, but as beginnings.
Heavenly Father, help me to see the autumns of life with hope, knowing that every ending is the start of something new.
