First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.—1 Timothy 2:1–2 (ESV)
The above verse reminds us to pray for others. Keep track of others’ prayer requests on a list, in an app on your phone, or simply in your head. Entrusting the people in your life to God’s care is a divine blessing.
Dear Lord, I know there is great power in praying for others. Today I ask You to bless my friends and family.
Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more, because God took him away.—Genesis 5:24 (NIV)
