Jesus at the Waterfall

Words of faith flow out to a perfect stranger at the base of a waterfall.

Waterfalls are beautiful to gaze upon. With the changing color of fall approaching, my husband and I have been out several times to photograph the colors dancing around the waterfalls.

This particular day, the Lord had something different in mind for me as well. At the base of this waterfall, I encountered a gentleman who was also enjoying the view. During our conversation he mentioned something that let me know he needed a personal relationship with Jesus.

I told him that I did not know what his “religion” believed, but I said, “I can tell you what I believe.” I proceeded to tell him I had a personal relationship with the Lord and asked Jesus into my heart as personal Lord and Savior.

I did not think twice about what I said. It just flowed out of my mouth.

It was not an encounter that was a mistake. It was well planned by the Father. My timing wasn’t as perfect as the changing of the leaves, but His timing is always perfect!
