Today I’d like to welcome readers from Ultimate Blog Party 2014. I’m glad that you’re here.
My name is Shawnelle. I’m married to Lonny, and we have five sons, ranging from twenty-one to six. We live in an old Victorian on the Illinois banks of the Mississippi River. Our home is wild. Busy. Crazy full. But it’s my prayer that I’ll see God’s grace in the small moments of life. He’s here. At the center. Faithfully. Oh Lord, give me eyes to see!
I’ve been blogging at Guideposts.org for just a month, but I’m honored to be a part of this strong source of encouragement, hope and inspiration. Family Grace, my blog, is about marriage, motherhood, friendships and relationships–the ins-and-outs, ups-and-downs of daily life in a home centered on Jesus.
During the day, I home teach our youngest three sons, but when the sun goes down, I write. I’ve been capturing our adventures in words for five years. In addition to blogging, I contribute regularly to Guideposts and other inspirational publications.
