Join Our Twitter Chat to Discover How Dogs Help Veterans with PTSD

For veterans coping with post-traumatic stress disorder, therapy dogs can make a world of difference. Find out more during our Twitter chat.

Guideposts: Ricochet the Surfing Dog

On Tuesday, November 10 at 7 p.m., Guideposts (@Guideposts_org) is hosting our first Twitter chat in honor of  Veterans Awareness Month.  We’re talking about how therapy dogs help veterans cope with PTSD.

One therapy dog, Ricochet, pictured above, has a special gift for helping suffering veterans and also has a surprising knack for surfing.  Join us and @SurfDogRicochet’s trainer, Judy Fridono using the hashtag #AskSurfDog for a one-hour chat. Judy will answer your questions about therapy dogs, and maybe even tell us how Ricochet learned to surf. We’ll also share how you can partner with Guideposts to offer hope and inspiration to veterans.

When you follow @Guideposts and participate in #AskSurfDog, you will be eligible to win a copy of Ricochet’s book, Ricochet: Riding a Wave of Hope with the Dog Who Inspires Millions. (See the official rules here .)

Sign up here for a reminder to join the Twitter chat. Help us support our veterans and join us for a chat that is bound to be informative, fun, and, as Ricochet might say, “Paw-inspiring.”
