It’s What Inspires You Wednesday! This week, we chose six comments from our Facebook page.

Joan Kundra
My pastor and his wife inspire me! The sermons lately have been touching my heart in ways I can’t even describe. I have been fighting depression and major faith issues, and it almost feels as though these sermons were written for me! And the pastor’s wife is running a Bible Study for women. I’m inspired by them both taking the time to discuss these things with me.

My beautiful 20-year-old daughter, Nicole, inspires me. She always has a smile on her face and is always nice to everyone. She’s beautiful inside and out and has taught me what kind of person I want to be!

My beloved friend Iris Autenrieth Peters is battling a terminal Stage IV Glioblastoma, which was diagnosed this spring; she has been given less than a year. She is the mother of three darling little boys under the age of 8. She has endured brain surgery, radiation and chemotherapy. Yet every day she wakes up and thanks God for his gift of another day. Her faith is both inspiring and humbling.

My 19-year-old son, Joshua inspires me. At 6’9″, he is a “gentle giant” who loves church—especially the senior citizens! Each Sunday morning before service, he sees how they are doing. He has never followed the “crowd,” and he knows right from wrong. He loves college and is majoring in school psychology and special education; he wants to work with children. God has truly blessed me with my son!

Marilyn Turk
My 2-year-old grandson, Logan, gets such delight from discovering the small things in life, those things I take for granted. He inspires me to find the joy in my day.

Edward Grinnan
I haven’t said it in a while, but the kindness, courage and faith of Guideposts readers inspires me in my work every day.
