Everybody loves end-of-year lists, me included. So once again, our editors chose the 10 most inspirational stories that appeared in Guideposts in the past year.
It wasn’t easy. We published literally hundreds of stories this year. Still, some linger in our memories. The story I loved most in 2011 was …
Wait! I can’t do that! Really, how can I have a favorite?
It’s a little like being asked who your favorite child is. You may love your children in slightly different ways but you love them all as much. As editor-in-chief, that’s how I feel about Guideposts stories. At the end of editing each issue, I love all the stories equally. In fact I don’t ever publish a story I don’t love.
But I am interested in what you think, in which stories inspired you most. You can go to our Facebook page and choose your most inspirational story by “liking,” sharing and commenting on it. One story is being posted each day for ten days. Visit often to vote for more than one story!
We’ll reveal the top vote-getter (I hate to say winner, because they’re all winners) the week after Christmas. Meanwhile, when you’re finished voting for the most inspirational story in Guideposts for 2011, check out our Mysterious Ways polling. We’re asking you to pick your favorite Mysterious Ways from the news, too. I looked at the early voting results and boy was I surprised.
And don’t forget to keep sending in your stories. Next year your story could be on the list.
