Nothing can stress you out like financial troubles. Worrying about crushing debt, and how you’ll pay your bills can certainly steal your joy and peace. I’m Teanne Brown, and I want to tell you that this is not what God desires for our lives.
God wants us to have peace and abundance. So if you’re struggling with financial difficulties, here’s are some Bible based tips to help you get on track with the life that God wants for us all. First, review your income and your expenses. If there’s any way to spend less than what you’re bringing in, find those expenses and safely put them out of your budget.
If you can’t pay cash for something, don’t buy it. Get a handle on credit card debt and not adding any expenses that aren’t emergencies. Getting hold of your finances on your own can seem really tough, especially if you were never taught good money management.
The Bible says to seek out wise counsel. If you’re overwhelmed with money troubles, seek out a financial counselor or free resources that can help you regain control of your finances so that you can have a life of joy and peace that God wants for you.
