Psalm 9. You know, the psalms were meant to be sung. They were originally sung, and sometimes they still are sung. When we sing, we get in touch with a deeper part of ourselves, and it’s a good thing. So often today, singing is something that we listen to, we’re used to watching performers sing and we forget to sing ourselves. So I don’t care what your voice sounds like, but you should sing. Sing in the shower, sing in your car, sing as you walk down the street. My kids have often been embarrassed, they’ve run away from me because I start singing as I’m walking. It’s good, it’s all good. Listen to this:
I will praise thee O Lord with my whole heart
I will show forth all thy marvelous works
I will be glad and rejoice in thee
I will sing praises to thy name
O thou most high
Sing: “I will sing the Lord a new song, to praise Him, to bless Him, to bless the Lord. I will sing His praises while I live, all of my days,” keep singing.
