Hi, it’s Edward from Guideposts, checking in with you again. Gracie and I are out on our daily hike, and I thought this would be a good opportunity to say a few words about what’s going on with us.
We’ve probably been on lockdown now for a month, like most of the country, give or take. And the questions are starting to arise. What comes next? What does the future hold? When will we see our loved ones again and get back to work and somehow get back to that life that seemed so normal to us at one time?
And I think what happens next, the question of the future, is like the fundamental question for people of faith. You know, what is in store for us?
And I really don’t know. In fact, I don’t know what the future holds, ever. But I do know one thing, one knowledge of the future that I am granted. And it’s that God will be there. God will be there like he was in all the days of my life and the way He is today with me, and He will be there tomorrow to guide me.
And that’s all I know about the future. That’s all I know about what comes next. And really, that’s all I need to know.
I’m curious what you think. That’s it for me for today. And when you get a chance, let me know. I want to hear from you. Thanks, stay safe, bye.
