On this national day of prayer, we have the privilege and responsibility to come together in prayer. Together, we have the ability to amplify that heart’s cry asking God to keep those men and women in our military safe.
There are things, too, that may not need to be in our lives. These things need to be cropped or pruned to make us more like Jesus. For each person, the pruned objects may be a different.
There are many next steps to consider. And many more prayers to say, and answers to be listened for, and a dog to love for however long we may have her before God gently takes her home.
Our loving Father wraps His arms of love around us whenever we need Him.
