Today's daily devotion

Everything Is New!

He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”—Revelation 21:5 NIV

Spring is a time of renewal and rebirth. God gave us life and He alone can renew our spirits so that we experience the true gift of life. He alone can open our hearts to the beauty blooming around us.

Heavenly Father, renew me! Help me love life—so that life loves me back!

Life Changing Faith—Easter Sunday

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.—Romans 10:9 NIV

Today is the perfect time to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. If you haven’t already done so, invite Him into your heart and let Him change your life. With Him, there is nothing that you won’t be able to handle. Receive the power of His amazing grace now.

Heavenly Father, I receive the promise of eternal life by faith and look forward to extending my Lenten journey with You into the rest of my life.

Welcome Spring

For behold, the winter is past; the rain is over and gone. The flowers appear on the earth, the time of singing has come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land. —Song of Solomon 2:11-12 ESV

Today is the first day of spring! Soon the first precious flowers will bud and bloom. Just as nature is blossoming, God’s work is silently budding in your life.

Heavenly Father, nurture my spirit and help me grow into the person You intend me to be.

Make Peace with Unanswered Questions

“You said, ‘Listen now, and I will speak; I will question you, and you shall answer me.’”
—Job 42:4 NIV

Job longed to understand God’s actions. Often when difficult times befall us, like Job, we want answers. Why did this happen? Faith will lead us to recognize that we can know and love God, yet we must accept that all of our questions will not be answered.

Heavenly Father, help me to find peace with all that is unanswered in my life.
