Change of Seasons

Let the trees of the forest sing, let them sing for joy before the Lord, for he comes to judge the earth.—1 Chronicles 16:33 (NIV)

God placed clues in nature to help us turn to Him and find meaning and purpose. Autumn, with its bursting colors of foliage, is often a cue for us to reflect on our lives and make changes that will help us grow.

Merciful Father, thank You for the beautiful change of seasons that inspires me to look inward and let go of things I no longer need as I make a new life.

No Complaints

Today, start a complaint diet and commit to cutting back and ultimately ridding yourself of the unhealthy habit of grumbling. Whenever you find yourself moaning, be silent, or better yet, thank Jesus instead.
