Remove the Veil
So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like Him as we are changed into His glorious image.—2 Corinthians 3:18 (NLT)
When you look in the mirror what do you see? God wants you to remove the veil so that you can see what He sees. As His follower, the more you look with His vision, the more you believe and reflect His image.
Lord, thank You for creating me in Your image. I long to see as You see and to love as You love.

The Lord Is with You
I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of His resurrection and participation in His sufferings, becoming like Him in His death, and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead.—Philippians 3:10–11 (NIV)
Take a moment and consider the amazing power of Christ in your life. Feel the comfort of His infinite love. Reflect on how much He suffered for you. Spend time with Him in prayer and ask Him how you can truly know Him.
Heavenly Father, open my eyes and heart to know You better.

Your Walk with God
The next day Jesus decided to leave for Galilee. Finding Philip, he said to him, “Follow me.”—John 1:43 (NIV)
Jesus not only guided His disciples with His words, but with His walk. He modeled how to share the good news, how to live a life of prayer and so much more. You are also an example to others and the road you travel with Christ isn’t just for you, but for all those who follow and learn.
Help me Jesus to focus on Your ways. Help me to walk by Your truth.

From Distress to De-Stress
Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.—1 Peter 5:7 (NIV)
In times of distress, put your faith in action. Use this affirmation when you fear the future: I put my life in God’s hands. I will trust God’s guidance. I leave the outcome to God. Do your best and leave the outcome in God’s hands.
Heavenly Father, help me focus on You instead of my fear.

The Simple Secret
When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.—Isaiah 43:2 (NLT)
Dr. Norman Vincent Peale once said the secret of life is “to have faith in faith.” The Bible is filled with the message that faith conquers all; that by faith all things are achieved. If you think and act this way, the results in your life will be positively amazing.
Dear Lord, help me to shake out my doubts. Help me to have faith in faith.

Listen for God’s Voice
O Lord, answer me! Answer me so these people will know that you, O Lord, are God and that you have brought them back to yourself.—1 Kings 18:37 (NLT)
In our world filled with distractions, it can be difficult to hear God’s voice. To bend your ear toward Him, bookend your day with prayer. Dedicate the first 15 minutes and the last 15 minutes of every day as your special meeting time with God. Remain spiritually alert; God speaks to us in unexpected ways.
Dear Lord, I know You hear my prayers. Help me to tune my ear to hear Your answers.

Master Your Emotions
Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.—Matthew 5:5 (NIV)
When you feel that your emotions are out of control, sit down and write a list of everything that is bothering you. When you are done, read through it and then throw it away. Ask God to help you forget the past and move ahead, right now with a positive attitude.
Heavenly Father, make me willing to yield myself to You, so that I can have serenity in my life and control of my feelings.

The Name Above Every Name
Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name.—Philippians 2:9 (ESV)
The Bible is filled with names for Jesus. Isaiah calls Jesus “Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace” (9:6). Each specific name comforts and sustains us during different seasons of our lives. The Bread of Life (John 6:35) will nourish your hungry spirit. The Good Shepherd (John 10:11) will guide you on your way. And when all seems dark, the Light of the World is there for you (John 8:12).
Thank You Jesus, You hold the “name that is above every name.”

Heavenly Father, thank You for helping me defeat my problems and not to fear what lies ahead.
