God Works for the Good

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.—Romans 8:28 (NIV)

Your quality of life is not based on what happens to you, but on how you respond. When tragedy befalls, do you become bitter, or do you become better? Do you look with gratitude at the blessings you still have, or become fixated on what could have or should have happened? Your spiritual vision is what will determine your reaction and your future.

Lord, when I struggle with dark thoughts, help me to remember that You work for the good in all things.
