Robert Louis Stevenson wrote, “Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant.” Sometimes the simplest gesture or act of kindness can make a difference in another’s life. Ask God to help you become attentive and available to serve Him by planting seeds of love.

Lord of the harvest, I am ready to serve.

In the above verse, the Apostle Paul experienced unusual kindness from strangers. Have you ever extended a similar kindness to someone in need? God wants you to see the full humanity and value in every person—to lend a comforting hand to those who feel lost, to be a beacon of compassion to those in the cold.

God of grace and compassion, help me to see the precious worth of every person and to be a generous stranger who extends unusual kindness.
