God Will Help You

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.—2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV)

When you feel frustrated, reflect on this verse. Your shortcomings can either defeat you or make you aware of God’s strength. Invite Him to turn your vulnerability into an opportunity to boost your faith and experience His power. His steadfast love will hold you up.

Heavenly Father, when doubt fills my mind, hold me close. Please fill me with peace and renewed hope! Your comforts will delight me.

Instead, He desires that you learn from your mistakes and work toward being better every day. Striving for perfection will not make you great, but not giving up—will!

Lord, help me release my fear of failure and go boldly forward.
