Offer God’s Grace
I beg you that when I come I may not have to be as bold as I expect to be toward some people who think that we live by the standards of this world.—2 Corinthians 10:2 (NIV)
In the above verse, when the Apostle Paul heard that he was being judged, he refused to be compared to others. God’s grace saves you from needing to feel superior by judging and dismissing others’ life choices. The next time you feel tempted to judge someone, extend God’s grace instead.
Dear God, help me to remember that it’s not my role to measure others. Guide me to be understanding and accepting, compassionate and kind.
