To make matters worse, Elaine’s daughter has begun to spend an awful lot of time with one of the prime suspects for the theft! Their pursuit brings them in contact with some very interesting people, including a woman who is convinced Nathan’s teapot belongs to her – and will stop at nothing to get it back. And when Jan and Bob’s big day finally arrives, it is capped by an exiting announcement and a thrilling development – just as the newlyweds depart for their honeymoon.

Cousins Elaine Cook and Jan Blake are ready for a new season in their lives. Together, they purchase a lake side Queen Anne-style house in Maine and, following in their grandmother’s footsteps, convert part of the house into a tearoom. Expecting their new life to be quiet and uneventful, they’re surprised to find themselves drawn into baffling mysteries.
